November 16th, Monday

Ouch, ouch, my dick hurts!  Shann's got pix but you wouldn't want to see them.

I slammed my pubic bone on the gas cap.

What is that top gouge from?  My head?  I did see a white flash when I hit!

While lying on the ground taking assessment of my condition, my left wrist,

right knee, rib below my right clavicle and dick HURT like a M F'r!

And, the worst part is I had a final interview for a new job I really wanted/needed.

I stupidly waited a week before going to the ER at Hartford Hospital.  But, I'm fine.

Just a lot of swollen bruises.

November 5th, Thursday

A nice day to ride at my track.

September 26th, Sat

Well that's it folks the last race of the year.  I'm sorry but I fuck'n kick ass!

We raced 23 races since January.  I earned my yellow Armature plates and

raced in the regionals.  I'm the fastest and most in shape I've ever been in my life.

I just had my practice track groomed so I'm gona ride until it freezes.

This last race at WSP was fun.  I raced my race and felt fast as hell.

September 19th, Sat

At this NEMX race at Middleboro "Capeway Rovers", I broke something in my right hand during the 2nd moto of the 450B.  It was a bad 3 rider, 4th gear pined, first turn crash.  My left boot was totally unbuckled and there was a big knobby skid mark on the boot. This all happened right in front of Scott so, ask him about it for details.

I had a hint something like this was going to happen, when at the first turn of the first moto of the 450B race, a rider side swiped me, which almost took me out but the guy who slammed me went down hard after he banged into me.

BTW, it felt really cool ripping out of the first turn wheel to wheel with Jake Morrison and Josh Clark!

And, of course I smoked everyone in the 35B and 40B to the first turn every moto.

Considering I've never rode the track before I raced three classes again and took 6th out of 13 in the 35B.  I DNFd the 40B and 450B because my ankle and wrist were fucked up bad.

The track was awesome and really fun.  Lots of big tables and doubles.  I was happy with my performance because I cleared all of the doubles and all except on of the huge tables.

Sorry, no pix or videos but some good souvenirs like a cracked helmet visor and the knobby marks on my boots.

September 12th, Sat

This NEMX race at Southwick was my debut racing as a B rider and also the forst time racing three classes.  But wow, I usually really suck at "the Wick" but for the first two races I was on "FIRE"!  I couldn't believe it was me riding.  It was an awesome day of racing for me.

September 5th, 6th, & 7th Labor Day Weekend

NERC was off the hook.  Damn what a crazy three days of racing.  The first day was a disaster for me.

The track was nothing like I was used to.  Six inches of a loose and wet, but I can't call it mud,

it was more like potting soil over soaked in water.  Then, under that swamp water was hard packed dirt. I didn't even have to follow the ruts because I just made my own.

And, don't even get me started on the face of one of the jumps made of wood chips!

My fastest lap time was 2:20 damn did I suck!

Overall I ended up 13th out of 27 racers from six states, in the 30B & 40B classes.

August 29th, Sat

My "FIRST" Southwick National's race!  Thanks to Shannon we did it in style.

We had a day VIP pit passes with golf cart rides from the VIP tent to the pits.

These PICTURES will tell the whole story:

August 15th, Sat

DJM Racing sponsored the races at WSP today.  Everyone had a great time.

WSP had a waterslide and free ice cream for every one.  And did we need it.

It was 98 degrees and a burning sun.

As for "Team DJM Racing" we had 3 podium finishes:

Charlie Smith of course with a 2nd over all in the open B.

Nate Aliengena took home a 2nd overall in the 450B.

Rob McCoy in the Youth C finishing 3rd overall.

I grabbed the hole-shot and 4th in the 40B in my "FIRST" ever MX race as a B rider!

Zack Ranney had a bad day even before he got to the track because family vacation plans

were squeezed in with race day, so Zack and his dad Bill had to leave after the first motos.

Casualties:

Chuck Rathbun raced the 450B but fell hard in the second moto and

had a slight concussion but, he had the 9th fastest lap time of 2 minutes!

Brandon Peters' bike front sprocket lost a tooth that punctured the case so he DNSed

the 2nd motos for the 450B and open B classes.

But, Brandon did take my practice bike out for the 450B and had the 12th fastest lap time of 1:57

which was faster then the 2:03 on his bike in the Open B.

Shann's Pix of the day!

July 26th, Sun

Back to Crow Hill with NESC.  I still can't get out of the gate without almost looping it.

Over all I took home 1st in 35C and 2nd in 30C.

And this really is my "LAST" novice C class race because the rules say no matter what

organization I race if I point up to a B rider I'm a B rider for ever!

July 19th, Sun

This was my first race at Crow Hill with NEMX.  The fast guys in the 40C are really fast.

So, it was an ego check for me.  I can still get off the line as fast as any B rider.

And this brings me to another reality check. Did you notice I said the 40 "C" guys were fast

Well, I'm racing the C class for the next three races to build up confidence and get a little faster

before I run the "B" class in all the racing organizations.

Sorry, no pix or video this week and I'm too cheap to buy this one:

July 11th, Sat

I can't believe it, but I'm an amateur B rider at WSP.  I've won too many races so I can't race with the novice C class anymore.

It was a nightmare for the first motos.  I came in 12 out of 10 riders!  "How'd you do that Moto Joe"?

Well, 5 of us were penalized points for jumping on a yellow flag.  That is something I have never done and would never do but, I don't argue with officials.

Besides that, it was only one gate for both A&B riders so now every start is an ego check for the holeshot king.

My biggest claim to fame is having the fastest lap times in my first ever 40B race.

July 5th, Sun

It was an awesome day of racing!  The weather was perfect and the track was in mint condition.

1st over all in the 30C and 15th out of 32 in the OpenC.

Here is a pix page.....thanks Shannon!

June 25th, Thurs

Practice at 217 with a bunch of the fastest guys around.

June 14th, Sun

I'm not even going to post my results for these races because of the mud (I couldn't see a damn thing) and I'm racing the Open C instead of the 40C because I don't want to point out to a B rider yet.

Bad, bad day.......

"So.....Shannon, what can I do to you....errrrr, I mean do FOR you to be DJM Racing's Pro rider?

June 13th, Sat

We finally got to race on the Winchester SX track.  Damn it was cool.  The only disappointing

thing was most of the riders didn't know how to square off corners so all the bowl turns had a rut burned in them.  I did good in the races.  I was in first place, in the 30+ for one lap until I dumped it in a rutted corner!  And of course you know how I did in the 40+ with a 56:3 as my fastest time of the weekend.

Winchester-

Finally, the track was in "mint" condition.  I dropped another 10th of a second this week.

My fastest lap today was 2:04

Ya think I'm use'n all of my suspension to it full potential.  Or, should I stop eating Pizza?!?!?!

I couldn't do as well as I am, without Captain Morgan!

May 30, Sat

Winchester-

It's been a while since I raced two classes in one day! I was exhausted but did OK.

1st overall in 40C and 2nd overall in 30C. I think I'm going to run the open C instead of 40C

from now on.

Winchester-

Today's races were mud, mud and more mud. I guess I need to practice in the mud more often.

It was tough wrestling that 450 for 25 minutes.  Yup, no two moto format.

The first "Grand Prix" style race of the day was in the 30C class.

NEMA at Southwick-

Never again!  I love race day and I think I'm tough (remember this comment) but I won't race NEMA at

the 'Wick' anymore cuz I have to get up a 5:30am the morning of the race!  Yup, no pre-entry the night before. It was a typical day.  We pitted next to the Smith's (Charlie 84) again, which is like pitting next to

Mike Alessi.  So, that means I get lots of awesome advice from Charlie Sr. and Dottie, Charlie Jr's parents.

And, all the hot little gurlz stop by all day long.

May 3rd, Sun

It's official.  I am a real Motocross racer. After a week of training and prep and racing

two days in a row at two different tracks...... I can comfortably call my self a Motocross racer.

Thanks to Pop-Tart, who in a HUGE way showed me the "in's and out's" of race days.

The number one enabler/supporter is Shannon, who the whole team has to thank.

Another official statement for DJM Racing, is the addition of a new replacement

mechanic, Scott Morgan.  Scott also takes awesome pix and videos.

Finally, we made it to the famous Winchester MX track.  Barry from Mototown and now

Winchester's track suppervisor, has been dying for me to race here for years.

What an awesome "FAST" track.  My MX skills are way less good as my SX skills but,

I love racing Winchester!

I got the "Hole-Shot" in both motos and took 2nd in the second moto!

I'll beat that 2:09 next time I race here!

April 16th, Thurs

I'm starting to invite riders to the track.  Out of selfishness I only invite the fast guys like

Charlie Smith, Chris Johnson and Chuck Rathbum.

DJM Racing has added  Zack "Pop-Tart" Ranney to the team, as our Lites rider .

He's got a lot of potential and is fast.  He reminds me of me a little cuz he respects MX techniques,

but I'm not as fast....yet!

Look for a page on this site with Zack attack's stuff on it.

April 12th, Easter Sun

Here it is the first race of the season.  Boy do I suck!

Race results

April 5th, Sun

Ralph from Beebe Landscaping introduced me to two ride'n buddies, Ricky and Jr.

An added bonus knowing Ricky and Jr. is that they are master "Skid Steer" operators!

Now I can have my track groomed all the time.  These guys did a great job so I had

to suit up and get some time on the track for the first time this year!

I finally got the automatic starting gate up and running.

March Mon the 30th.

I've been dieting the past 6 weeks. I started at 196#s. My $1,000.suspension

is tuned for 185!  So, I can only practice on Mondays.

My track isn't ready yet. I'm training at Henry's track.  Here's my pit.

Did Alessi or Reed change their numbers?!!?!

March 29th.

Mototown in closed "forever"! I sacrificed my right wrist, two fingers and ankle there

but it was worth it because, I'm way faster now.

Feb. Mon the 23rd.

I'm back training for the Easter race at Southwick! It's been less then 4 weeks since the fracture!

I call it "active recovery".

Mototown comped my day pass because of my crash, which was a nice surprise.

Practice was tough emotionally because I had to take it easy and roll all of the jumps.

Jan. Thurs 29th.

This Ultrasound Bone Healing system is a new technology that heals fractures 1.7 times faster then the average human on its own.

Here is one review of many studies proving it's results:

Jan. Thursday the 22nd.

Yup, cracked my damn fibula at the ankle!

I hit the little tabletop before the big jump at Mototown too fast.  Not sure how or why I landed

so F***'ed up, but skidded on "top" of my head for about 5 feet.

This was officially my second worst crash, from the looks of my helmet.

I felt too aggressive that morning and was "riding over my head". I really wanted to practice hard for the up coming race.

Thank God for the Leatt Brace!!

Smashed up my helmet really bad!

Back to Dr. Noy.
