2010
Team DJM Racing race schedule:
July 15th, Thursday

June 2nd, Wednesday
I went to Henry's track to practice because my track was washed out
and beat up. As usual, I start practice with a practice holeshot.
As I entered the track, ripping in 3rd WFO, I glanced up to where there is usually a flat straight-away
to see a big set of whoop type dirt hills. I panicked and crashed into the face of the second whoop and thought I broke every bone in my chest and shoulder.
Yup, I finally broke my collarbone and ripped the ligaments out.
Surgery was a week later on June 11th.
May 2nd, Sunday
Sorry no pix or videos cuz Shann couldn't make it to the race.
Back to motocross at WSP.
I got of to a cautious start but by the last moto of the day in the 30B,
I mean literally the second to the last race, I was on "fire"!
I got the holeshot and held onto 4th place for 2 laps.
My fastest lap time of the day was 2:11
So, here's the best part of the day. Remember I emphasized how the 30B was
the 2nd to the last race of the day, well, I felt so good from that race, getting the holeshot
ride'n in 4th and feeling fast, when I rode off of the track after the race, I didn't want to wait for
Scott so after sitting for a while, I was slowly creeping my bike towards out pit. Then I just said
fuck it, I tired and in a good mood so I rolled up to the pit.
I got my first DQ because of riding my bike back to the trailer!
April 11, Sunday

March 20th, Saturday
We've got a new track maintenance chief, my handler Scott Morgan!
Ryan Geerling left us his Skid Steer with tracks this weekend. So I called
Barry Belcher, a giant in the New England MX world for 25 years, to work
on the track. Barry taught Scott how to run the machine.
By the end of the day Scott had it down and redesigned the area in front of the
"launch pad" and added a dirt starting gate in the field up at the top of the track(pictures later)
with a sweeper connecting into the track.
Don't hate me Scotty but this is the only picture of you I have.....for now!

March 13th, Saturday
I wasn't able to ride at all this winter because I had to work for the first time in a year.
After a few practices at Mototown I figured I'd race to get warmed up for my yearly
Easter opener at "The Wick".
I ran the 45B and the 40B classes. There were 6 guys in each class. I'm not going
to tell you how I did but....at least I looked good!
